Morphology :
Imago the tip of labial is long and curved upwards, front wing is 5-6 mm in length and pale gray in color with one small black spot in the center (2/3 rd from wings’ base). Wings are tufted with soft fur, front wings tapered upwards, back wings are projected like fingers

Life cycle :
Optimum 30 days at 300C, 75% humidity.
Approximate 16-350C, >30% humidity
Maximum population growth per month 50
Eggs located in commodities
Larva create holes on seeds (covered with silk), stays hidden inside until it forms pupa, imago exits through said holes, does not eat, flies
